It's All About the Harmony...

Don't miss this young man's talent. Jacob Collier is an extraordinarily gifted artist. Harmonically he is miles ahead of just about everyone. I can't help to be enthusiastically impressed with his achievements. I first learned of his abilities a few years ago and had lost track of him until today when a friend, Steve Daggett, posted some information about Jacob's recent recording and arranging efforts. 

Previously, I'd seen some of his recorded works, but also some of his discussions and an example of his deep and thorough knowledge of the music theory involved in building some amazingly immense and interesting chord structures. 

Here is a wonderful example of his skill and dedication with the classic song: Moon River. The song has been around for many years, but his arrangement and recording bring it all to a new level. Simply amazing. Moon River.
